Wastewater Process Site Performance Audit

Clarity. Insight. Action.

When a wastewater facility is underperforming, has high operational overhead, or is showing signs of instability, guessing is expensive.

The Wastewater Process Site Performance Audit is designed to give plant owners and operators a clear, expert evaluation of what is happening inside the system, where inefficiencies may be hiding, and what practical next steps will produce the greatest impact.

Led by Pat Beamon, owner of Wastewater Process, this audit brings more than 40 years of wastewater industry experience to your facility, along with the credibility of an innovator who holds multiple patents in the wastewater space. This is not a generic checklist. It is a seasoned, technical assessment grounded in decades of hands-on process knowledge.

Many facilities know something is off before they know exactly what it is.

Maybe operational costs are climbing. Maybe performance is inconsistent. Maybe nutrient balance is not where it should be. Maybe the biology is not responding the way it should.

The problem in many cases is not a lack of effort. It is a lack of clear diagnosis.  This audit is built to identify the real issues, uncover missed opportunities, and provide a path forward rooted in operational reality.

What's Included?

On-Site Visit

An on-site evaluation of the facility and its operating conditions, allowing for direct observation of equipment, processes, performance concerns, and plant-specific challenges.  We want to lay eyes and hands on your system.

Micronutrient Analysis

An in-depth assessment to determine whether the essential metals needed in the secondary treatment system are present in the proper balance, and whether adjustments should be made to improve biological health and treatment performance.

Unit Process Evaluation

A thorough review of all unit processes, with special attention given to the biological portion of the system. This helps identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and performance risks across the treatment train.

Microscopic Analysis

A detailed microscopic analysis of the activated sludge or fixed film system to evaluate biomass health, biological activity, and indicators of process imbalance.

Lagoon Evaluation

Where applicable, an evaluation of lagoon performance and condition to determine how the lagoon system is functioning and where improvement may be needed.

Influent Wastewater Evaluation

If necessary, an analysis of incoming wastewater to better understand loading characteristics and how influent conditions may be affecting system performance.

Recommendations for Next Steps

A clear set of expert recommendations outlining the most important corrective actions, process changes, or operational improvements to consider moving forward.

Cost Analysis

An operational cost review to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and potential reductions in ongoing operating costs.
